The Notes App Chronicles

It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted here. For a while, I shifted my writing to the notes app on my phone - quiet, unseen, just between me and the Lord. I still needed to get the words out, still needed to pour out the weight of what I was walking through, but I didn’t always feel ready to share them publicly. In many ways, they became little altars of surrender. Places where I laid down my questions, my hurts, and even my small victories before the Lord.

But over time, He’s been showing me that sometimes the things we hide in the dark often carry the very light someone else needs. Our broken places, our in progress stories, can actually become someone else’s encouragement. Not because we’ve figured it all out, but Because God meets us in the middle of the mess and proves Himself faithful.

I don’t know what season of life you find yourself in right now. Maybe you’re in a valley, carrying questions with no answers. Maybe you’re in a waiting season that feels endless. Or maybe you’re just tired of trying to hold everything together. I’ve been in each of those places recently and I can say with confidence that God has never left me there. He has carried me when I couldn’t carry myself. He has reminded me that even when everything feels shaky, His Word and His promises remain unshaken.

So as I begin sharing pieces of what I’ve been writing in private, my prayer is that you’ll see the fingerprints of God’s faithfulness through it all. Not perfection, not a story tied with a neat little bow, but a testimony that even in the fire, God is still good. Even in the waiting, He is still present. And even in the breaking, He is still building something beautiful.

Xoxo, Mel
